What Dave’s Race 6 - The Legacy Continues will Support

Since our race against ALS began when Dave was diagnosed in 2017, we have learned a lot about ALS and the needs of the ALS community. Therefore, this year all of our events, like Vince’s Race, will support 3 different ways to help the ALS community. All 3 of these were chosen specifically by Dave from his research and experiences. They are the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI), Duke Neurology ALS Clinic, and our Patient Assistance & Van Program. Learn more about each of these and how we support them HERE!


Event Notes

  • ON-TRACK Track Day/Event, drivers will have the opportunity to experience the course once chosen as one of Car and Driver Magazine’s top six road courses Virginia International Raceway. ·The Uphill Esses and sharp elevation changes not only make it a fan and driver favorite but have also established it as a prominent testing facility for the automotive industry.

  • OFF-TRACK: All participants will be provided with a fun evening of BBQ, silent/live auction and entertainment (see schedule).

    Driver’s Perks
    Dave’s Race Participants who donate/help us fundraise will receive:

  • Hours of complimentary track time each day via 1 of 3 run size limited, speed-based run groups (2 Advanced with Open Passing, separated by avg. lapping pace, and 1 Intermediate with Point-by-Passing).

  • A complimentary dinner at the event bar-b-que on the night of September 28, 2024

  • Tradd of Tradd’s Photos is scheduled to be there again to capture pictures of your car on track. The electronic files of those pictures will be a complimentary gift to you as part of the event!
